Although we initially had reservations about waiting two years for delivery, the finished motorhome proved that it was absolutely worth it.

The demand for ACM motorhomes clearly speaks for itself.  As owner‑operators, they know their product inside out and their passion for both the business and the quality of their builds shines through in every interaction.  We were guided through the design process with ease, and being able to visit the workshop and see our motorhome taking shape was a real highlight.

Recently, we picked up our brand-new Platinum motorhome from ACM, and we couldn’t be happier with the result!

After spending time planning the interior layout — particularly the U-shaped lounge, kitchen and bedroom positioning, along with the materials and fabric colours — we were so excited to finally see it all come to life!

The quality, attention to detail and luxurious finish of the motorhome are outstanding. With plenty of space, an amazing layout and loads of storage, we know we’re going to enjoy every adventure and make the most of our new home on wheels.

A huge thank you to the entire ACM team. From the initial vehicle build through to delivery, the whole experience was seamless, professional and delivered on time and exactly to spec.

To Chris and the whole team at ACM, from the initial concepts and purchasing the Chevy 6500 through to the design and layout, was completely hassle-free.

We provided a giant wish list, followed by my own personal wish list, and ACM delivered everything we asked for—and more. The entire process was seamless, and the attention to detail throughout was exceptional.

The after-sales service provided by Scott exceeded our expectations. He has been incredibly helpful and supportive, ensuring that we were looked after well beyond the initial purchase.

We are extremely proud of what ACM delivered. Lauretta’s assistance with selecting the interior colours also made a huge difference, ensuring that our ACM is not only functional but a very comfortable and enjoyable place to be.

Chris builds awesome Motorhomes. The quality is second to none.

As expected with a full custom build, a few things needed tweaking in the first year. Never any problem for ACM.

The team is fantastic, lead by Lauretta and Scott. Could not be happier.

There are very few Motorhomes in NZ I'd be ashamed to park next to. Including the German gin palaces or the ones from the other builder close to Auckland airport. ACM rocks.

The assessor on my first MOH claim suggested a few outlets to visit. I had never dealt with ACM before so my attitude was one of “hope for the best”. I’m pleased to say that that came true.

I was pleasantly surprised when I met the administrative staff and the work team. While the repairs were being done the communication from ACM kept me fully informed. They went out of their way to ensure that my vehicle would be completed by the specified deadline. It was completed before that date. In their extremely busy schedule they even gave the MOH a great wash and clean. Now that’s one I did not expect.

The MOH was damaged again and although there was a repairer closer to home I opted for ACM again. Again against their busy schedule they delivered the goods and even did some work that was not claim related. I was advised that they would need a month or so to fix up the damages. I was blown away when I was told that the job had been completed over 2.5 weeks.

I highly recommend ACM for their outstanding service, workmanship and professionalism. After having two jobs sorted out by ACM, it’s a no-brainer as to where I’ll send my MOH in future.

We have had the pleasure of dealing with Chris Cunard and his team at ACM motorhomes for our last two motorhomes builds. The first of these was an 8.3m bespoke design on an Iveco daily chassis. Right from the outset Chris proved to be an outstanding choice, presenting us with numerous design choices and helping throughout the construction with innovative and constructive ideas.

The finished product was superb and after doing 21,500 km we decided we would trust his team with our next build. This was a lot more complicated as it had a virtually full length slide out again on an Iveco chassis, with the finished product being 9m. Nothing seems to phase these guys. Attention to detail is everything and the finish is superb.

We love our new motorhome and fully appreciated the extra effort that went into is design and build. If you’re thinking of having a motorhome built.......use ACM. The finished product is worth waiting for!

Whether it’s a personalised custom build or top end motor home you want, you would have to go a long way to find a better product than the Kiwi built ACM Motor Home.

Their “CanDo”, flexible, innovative attitude enabled us to have our very own PIANO, yes piano (not a keyboard) installed in our home on wheels! What could be more challenging than that? The happy team at ACM not only met that challenge (along with a few other curly ones) but have continued on with their exemplary after sales service for the three years following our relationship with them.

You simply cannot ask for better than that. If this is not reassurance enough try this....our motor home won “The Peoples Choice Award” for best Motorhome of 2017.

My wife Gabrielle and I had been looking at getting a motor home custom built for a few years when we came across the team at ACM at a motor home show in 2018. We needed the custom build as Gabrielle is confined to a wheelchair following a car accident many years ago and there is no way that a standard motor home would suit us.

After making enquiries we were steered towards ACM by people in the trade who commented about ACM’s quality workmanship and ability to think outside the square. Whereas we had met some negativity with other manufacturers the ACM team showed a can do mentality and accepted our draft design plans and ideas with an attitude that said “we’ll make it work”.

Working together we came up with a floor plan that more than satisfies our wishes. During the build stage we were welcomed into the workshop at any time to view progress and make any changes we thought would work for us. We were surprised at the amount of engineering and certification that went into reconfiguring the chassis for the cassette wheelchair lift and the slideout. This made us thankful we had chosen a firm with the technical knowhow and ability to achieve this.

We have now used the motor home many times since delivery and it is probably true to say that it, easily, more than meets our expectations. The team at ACM take great pride in their work and this is evident in the excellent build quality of the motorhome.

Another factor to mention is that ACM operated on a fixed price basis which didn’t change, even though some of the variations were not originally allowed for. We would have no hesitation in recommending Chris and his team to anyone considering building a new motor home and just so thankful that we chose ACM for our own build.
